If you bought the car at a dealership, the car registration and title will be taken care of by the car dealer.
If you bought the car from a private party, submit to your local DMV within 30 days:

- Current Hawaii vehicle registration
- Application for Registration of Motor Vehicle
- Current safety inspection certificate
- $5 vehicle registration transfer fee
If you are moving to Hawaii, submit to your local DMV within 30 days:
- Hawaii certificate of safety inspection
- Out-of-state title
- Certificate of vehicle registration
- Application for Registration of Motor Vehicle
- Proof of vehicle's weight
- Shipping receipt or bill of lading
- Payment
MOPED
- Go to an Inspection Station to get a safety check.
- Go to a Satellite City Hall Office to register the moped.
BICYCLE
Bicycles can be registered at a Satellite City Hall Office.
